It’s been a while since someone’s asked me something personal beyond the small talk. Those are the times you feel as if you actually exist and everything you’ve been through starts to have a meaning. It’s nice knowing someone is curious about the little details about you; really, really nice. It’s those times you reflect upon your life and surprisingly find out things about yourself that you’ve never really thought of. The simple little questions that can evoke the deepest conversations. It’s one thing to know someone, but it’s a completely different thing to understand them.
