I hate missing someone who you know you shouldn’t miss at all. It sucks when they’re physically gone, but their presence still lingers. When everything reminds you of them, especially when you least expect it or when you think you’ve finally got them out of your mind. It’s as if someone is in your mind, playing with your feelings for their own entertainment. It’s sad because no matter how many times, day after day, you could play it off as if it doesn’t bother you, but deep down inside you know how much it hurts. It sucks because sometimes you just want to move on. Sometimes you just want to go a day without having your smile sink from your face over a silly reminder of the past. It sucks knowing that any moment of any given day, your happiness can be taken away. And this is why I hate genuinely missing someone..
