When a person finally finds someone worth hanging onto, they’d want to do anything to keep them close. Sometimes it’s not the fact that you genuinely enjoy talking to that person, but you’d always want to talk to them so you wont end up drifting further and further with each passing day. You wouldn’t want to lose their interest and them finding someone better and more exciting than you or in some cases, falling out of love with you. This is why most relationships fail when they reach the comfortable stage. Effort sometimes feels non existent and sooner or later, to at least one person, things will get boring. Comfortable isn’t always a bad thing. It tests one’s strength of mind and loyalty. It’s easy to get up and leave when things run dry. It’s easy to find or want someone with better qualities. But it takes a whole lot of heart to stick it out and make things work. There’s not a lot of people now days who will fight through thick and thin. If you find that person, keep them. Cherish them and don’t ever give them a reason to leave.

how ironic.
